The Society of Members of the French Agricultural Order of Merit (Association des Membres de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole) is placed under the high patronage of the French Secretary of State for Agriculture.
The aims of our society are to enhance the prestige of the French Agricultural Order of Merit. It aims to maintain and defend the reputation and the honour of the holders of this distinction, to work for public benefit in the agricultural, agri-food, rural and environmental fields, to organize cultural events or events relating to agriculture, food and related areas, and to support initiatives promoting the French Agricultural Order of Merit. It also aims to establish works of mutual aid, solidarity and general interest, to keep alive the memory of members of the French Agricultural Order of Merit no longer with us, to build ties of friendship and mutual respect among its members, and more generally, to conduct any action related to its objectives.
